This post is all about the positive vibes to see 2019 out! We have been privileged to have worked with some incredible charities such as Stand Up To Cancer, Make-A-Wish UK and most recently Children in Need!
But in between these massive projects, we have donated a whopping £5900 in 2019 to wonderful selection charities which are close to our hearts to contribute to the incredible work which they are doing and give back to our community and planet.
At Rubber Republic we believe in using business as a force for good and creating positive and proactive change. It’s not just the right thing to do, but we think its the only way business should be done.
To achieve this we do three things:
1) We comply with B-Corp standards and don’t work with any business that conflict with these standards.
2) Track our businesses carbon footprint and waste creation, work hard to reduce both through reuse and recycling, and then offset the remainder.
3) We donate £500 of every viable project to charity and do our banking through Triodos.
We have donated to some amazing charities whose work has gone further than we can in making some amazing things happen. This includes Marmalade, Bristol Womens Refugee, the WWF Amazon fund, one25, Mind, Bristol Hospitality Network, Extinction Rebellion legal fees and many more.
