Change is coming whether they like it or not.
Creating the largest climate mobilisation ever with an 8 week run in was a huge but exciting challenge. The huge changes currently needed in the world require that we all work together, so for this project we collaborated with viral campaign expert Richard Roaf and his team at Video Rev and pooled our resources to help young people from the UKSCN create a suite of shareable videos to muster support for the largest global climate strike ever.
Working with teams from Greenpeace, WWF and 350.org, we trained, facilitated and helped the Youth Strikers to create content that would resonate with their peers, their parents, the population at large, and the media.
The resulting films gained over 4 million views, and on the 20th September 2019, 4 million people in 160 different countries took to the streets with the Youth Climate Strike and protest against government inaction.
On Friday 20 September, Greta Thunberg and young people across the world are striking to demand urgent action to prevent the climate crisis but they can't do it alone. Whatever your age, everyone is needed to join the Global Climate Strike and get our government to declare a climate emergency. SHARE THIS VIDEO AND SPREAD THE WORD
