Business For Nature : Impact Campaign

How do you get attention to the importance of nature to our species in a news cycle so full?

A groundbreaking new study commissioned by The B Team and Business for Nature has revealed that a mammoth $1.8 trillion a year in subsidies are driving the destruction of ecosystems and threatening our extinction. 

This high impact fact felt like a great way to spark a conversation that could actually make a huge difference. What better way to get people to take notice than to point out they could actually save money, help ourselves and the planet? 

We worked with our friends at Greenhouse PR, Business for Nature and The B Team to create a carbon-neutral film and a medley of digital assets to bring these findings to life. Along with the study itself and some great press engagement from Greenhouse, we collectively unlocked some truly unprecedented coverage. 

From having our film tweeted by Paul Polman, to having the report’s finding shared by Leonardo Di Caprio, Greta Thunberg and Svein Tveitdal, the campaign went global and achieved press in 218 outlets (with a reach of 16.7 million) including The Guardian, Financial Times, Bloomberg Green, Business Day, Reuters and France 24.
