NEW WORK: Make My Money Matter

We created the launch videos for Richard Curtis’ MakeMyMoneyMatter campaign!

MakeMyMoneyMatter aims to refocus the trillions of pounds poured into pensions out of things that pensions default them to, like oil, arms and tobacco (it’s crazy we all pay into these things every day of our lives!) and into positive businesses like renewable energy, positive medical research and sustainable infrastructure.

What could you do with £3 trillion?

What could you do with £3 trillion? Let us know how you’d like your money invested to help build a better world. Answers in the comments

The campaign highlights how pension investments are going against the values of those paying into them. For example, cancer nurses investing in big tobacco, vegans funding meat production and climate activists investing in oil.

In the UK, there is about £3 trillion invested in pensions. This money is pumped into harmful industries such as arms, tobacco, fossil fuels, gambling and deforestation.

But what if we take that significant amount of money and funded clean energy, human rights, health care, green transport and reforestation?

If you have a pension, you have power and can use that to help build a better world, in a simple way which is 27 more times effective than giving up flying and going vegan combined.
