Hearts and minds

Back in January we got a call from Emily at Body & Soul to see whether we could make a game to address the common misperceptions about HIV AIDS. A pretty tough brief, but for an amazing cause.

Body & Soul is a charity is dedicated to supporting young people and their families who have to live with HIV. They are on a mission to de-stigmatise the virus and empower those who have it to lead rich and fulfilling lives.

And while we scratched our heads and wondered how on earth we could make something ‘casually entertaining’ about an issue that is so important, we discovered for ourselves the truly humbling stuff the staff, members and friends of Body & Soul do on a daily basis: From counselling and community outreach, to the weekly creative workshops they host at their awesome head office and the exciting ‘Life In My Shoes’ film project they are currently running.

Anyway our contribution to Body & Soul’s gorgeous new website is ‘Love Struck’: a fun little game punctuated with some surprising facts about HIV, along with a Quiz and an interactive infographic.

We hope you enjoy them (and learn) as much as we did making them.
