How we rate the project
Watching cakes being thrown at hot twin scientists in slow-mo. Genius!
The brief
Come up with a campaign that highlights the “anti-glare” lenses of Polaroid Sunglasses, and drive awareness of Polaroid’s sunglass brand.
What we produced
We decided to combine two of Polaroid Sunglasses’ core values – their high technical specifications and their sexy design – and came up with the concept of “Polaroid Labs” manned by Polaroid’s number 1 twin-scientists: Dr Bobby and Dr. Phil.
We then created an interactive experiment showing both Dr Bobby and Dr. Phil testing different sunglasses’ “anti-glare” properties by launching various objects (from a Birthday Cake to a Kitten) at them and recording their reactions in slow-mo.
The pay off
Over 100,000 people watched and took part in the interactive experiment, resulting in high-levels of product feature awareness and helping differentiate Polaroid from its less technically advanced competitors.
