Peter Gabriel has a song “Solsbury Hill”. I figured that Solsbury Hill was a real place, probably near Bath. Wikipedia knows the answer of course. But now I know too much about the song, and what was mysterious and enigmatic has become prosaic

Information sucks the joy out of some things. Sure, I love that I can find this stuff on wikipedia. No argument there. And it’s informative to know more about Peter Gabriel. I even learnt a few small things about myself.
